JB Mussels

You've been out with the kids all morning or galivanting around the country side with friends, and you need a quick, nourishing feed before 'hangry' kicks in. Sourced from our own back yard (or your local fishmonger!), this simple and nourishing dish will be devoured within seconds.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 x kg of Mussels (we love ones from our backyard in Jervis Bay!)
  • 1 x jar of *Flavours Gourmet Mussel Sauce
  • 1 x loaf of *Sourdough Bread

Cooking

method

Step 1: Clean mussels (refer to YouTube video for instructions) 

Step 2: Heat sauce in a large pot until hot (not boiling) 

Step 3: Add mussels and cook until they have opened. Transfer to a serving bowl 

Step 4: Top with fresh herbs of choice and serve with fresh or toasted dipping bread
