Sri Lankan Hot Mutton Curry
What you’ll need:
- 100g Curry Flavours Sri Lankan Hot Curry Spice Mix
- 100ml Cooking Oil
- 700ml Water
- 1 kg Diced Mutton
- 150ml Coconut Cream
Total Yield 1.75 Kg
Serves 8
Instructions to prepare:
- Add Oil,
- Add the diced mutton and panfry to partially cook off. (You can pre-cook the mutton in an oven if the mutton is on the bone) Cover the pan to retain the juices
- Add the spice mix and water, stir well
- Add the coconut cream
- Simmer on low heat till sauce thickens up
- Sri Lankan Hot Mutton Curry is ready to serve
TIP:
- Garnish with Coriander leaves and Ginger juliennes
- Add a dollop of Butter while cooking for a better taste
